Effect. The function you requested is not performed.
Recovery. Add the next name you want.

Invalid options specified.
Cause. You were attempting to retrieve the member names of an interest group, and
one or more options specified for retrieval are invalid. This problem reflects a
TRANSFER application coding error.
Effect. The function you requested is not performed.
Recovery. Report the problem to your system manager.

You may not have two groups that are members of each other.
Cause. You were attempting to add a member to an interest group, but the member
you specified is a group that has as a member the group that you specified.
Effect. The member group is not added.
Recovery. Do not attempt to make two groups members of each other.

A PUBLIC distribution list with that name already exists.
Cause. You tried to create a correspondent or group, and a PUBLIC distribution list
with that name already exists.
Effect. The correspondent or group you wanted is not valid and can’t be created.
Recovery. The set of PUBLIC distribution list names, local and remote correspondent
names, and group names on the local node must be unique. Use a different, unique
name for your correspondent or group.

Operation not allowed on the PUBLIC group.
Cause. You attempted to perform an operation not permitted on the PUBLIC group
depot, such as deleting the group.
Effect. The operation is not performed.
Recovery. Don’t attempt the operation again.
