TRANSFER Errors (4000-6999)

Only the values of I and S are allowed for this flag.
Cause. A TRANSFER application specified a value other than I or S in a UOW
expecting those values.
Effect. The function you requested is not performed.
Recovery. This is an application coding error, which a user should not see. Report the
error to the system manager.

File name must be a disk file.
Cause. You used a process or device name for a disk file name.
Effect. The function you requested is not performed.
Recovery. Use a disk file name and retry.
4395
Invalid indent columns.
Cause. You specified an invalid number for the number of columns to indent before
printing.
Effect. If you are formatting or copying to a disk file, indentation does not occur.
Recovery. The number of columns to indent before printing must be between 0 and
9999, usually between 0 and 10.

Invalid expiration warning days
Cause. You opted to include a warning for when a message will expire but specified
an invalid number of days for the warning.
Effect. The function you requested is not performed.
Recovery. Specify an acceptable value: a warning can appear between 0 and 9999 days
before a message expires. A 0 turns this feature off.
4400
Requested program ended with an error. See your system manager.
Cause. The text editor, formatter, or IXF file transfer program that TRANSFER invoked
for you has stopped unexpectedly.
Effect. If the program was a text editor, the text you entered might have been lost. If
the program was a formatter, the output may be garbled.
