Table 7-2. TSCHED PARAM Specifications (Page 1 of 2)
Parameter/Default Definition
CHECKSESSIONHOUR
Default = 0 (midnight)
Must be 0 through 23
Hour of the day when the Session file is checked for unused
sessions to be terminated. If PARAM UNHOLD is TRUE,
any held records on the Ready file are released from hold at
this time.
This parameter is used in conjunction with the
IDLESESSIONDELAY parameter for TWORK .
See “Idle Sessions” in Section 11,“Managing a TRANSFER
System,” for a discussion of this parameter.
LOGRECSPEROPENLOGRECSPER
OPEN
Default = 10000
Number of lines written to the log file after which the file is
closed and reopened.

Default = $T.CORR *
Name of the correspondent directory; the value must be the
same as that specified when TRANSFER was initialized.
NETINTERVAL
Default = 15
Minimum = 1
Number of minutes between scans of the Net file.
TSCHED scans the Net file for packages to be transported to
remote nodes.
NETMULTIPLE
Default = 2
Minimum = 1
Number of entries to be moved from the Net file to the Ready
file after each successful communication with a remote node.
This parameter applies to entries for the same remote node.
OPENERLIMIT
Default = 250
Maximum = 250
Number of simultaneous opens allowed.
RESERVESENDLCBS and
RESERVERECEIVELCBS
Default = 0
Must be 0 through 255
Number of Link Control Blocks (LCBs) to be reserved.
These parameters are used by TSCHED at startup to issue a
RESERVELCBS call. Do not change these parameters
unless an analysis of system performance indicates the need
to set them. Refer to the System Procedure Calls Reference
Manual for a description of the RESERVELCBS call.
* Unlike the other servers, A-TSCHED has no default for this parameter.
