Table 7-2. TSCHED PARAM Specifications (Page 2 of 2)
Parameter/Default Definition
UNHOLD
Default = FALSE
Must be TRUE or FALSE
Disposition of held items. A held item is one a TAREQ has
flagged for no further processing by TSCHED because of an
unrecoverable error that is often transient. Held items
caused by transient conditions will likely be processed
correctly if tried again later. Held items are checked at
restart of TSCHED or at CHECKSESSIONHOUR.
Held items are rare occurrences. Set this parameter to
TRUE to process previously held items or to FALSE to
ignore held items.
RESTRICTPRIORITYVALUE
Default = 0
Must be 0 through 9999
Specifies the priority value where the cutoff between
restricted and nonrestricted priorities occurs.
Any work with a priority of less than or equal to this value is
considered restricted and will be processed only during the
specified time window if one is specified.
RESTRICTPRIORITYBEGIN
Default = 0
Must be 0 through 24
Specifies the hour when restricted priority work begins being
processed.
A value of 0 implies no priority restriction. A value of 24
means midnight. If either this value or the value of
RESTRICTPRIORITYEND is 0, both are automatically set to
0 and priority restriction is not enforced.
Lower-priority work is not done except during the specified
time window, even if there is no other work to be done.
RESTRICTPRIORITYEND
Default = 0
Must be 0 through 24
Specifies the hour when restricted priority work stops being
processed.
A value of 0 implies no priority restriction. A value of 24
means midnight. If either this value or the value of
RESTRICTPRIORITYBEGIN is 0, both are automatically set
to 0 and priority restriction is not enforced.
Lower-priority work is not done except during the specified
time window, even if there is no other work to be done.
