X400 Database Server
(TDBSERV)
Two additional PARAM specifications apply to the TDBSERV configuration. These
PARAM specifications are listed in Table 7-9.
Table 7-9. TDBSERV PARAM Specifications
Parameter/Default Definition
ITEMIDCACHE
Default = 20
The number of IDs reserved by the server. Increase this
number if your system creates a large number of items. A
TMF transaction and an update are performed after
itemidcache
number of items have been created.
CHECKCONCURRENTSESSIONS
Default = TRUE
When a session is started, TDBSERV checks for concurrent
sessions for the same depot. If
CHECKCONCURRENTSESSIONS is TRUE, the check is
made. If CHECKCONCURRENTSESSIONS is FALSE, the
check is bypassed, saving time in starting a session when
a user logs on. The default is TRUE.
X400 Queue Manager
Servers
(X400-EMSERV and X400-
WMSERV)
PARAM specifications for the X400-EMSERV server and the X400-WMSERV server are
the same as those for the Queue Manager servers described in the Queue Manager
Manual.
