Tandem USASCII has a code set of 65301. Table 9-2 lists the character maps defined
by Tandem and the values that indicate them. Positive values are used in programs
written in languages other than TAL and SCREEN COBOL; negative values are used
in programs written in TAL and SCREEN COBOL.
