CONFIGURATION screen.
Field Descriptions The DEPOT STATISTICS CONFIGURATION screen presents you the following fields
for entering data and for displaying information.
Current Config
The Current Config column gives the current settings for collecting statistics on the
running TRANSFER system. After a restart of TRANSFER, each value in the current
configuration is used as the default for the next configuration.
Next Config
The Next Config column, on the right side of the screen, indicates the configuration for
the next time the TRANSFER system is started. After a restart of TRANSFER, each
value in the current configuration is used as the default for the next configuration.
Collect Statistics
The Collect Statistics field indicates if the TRANSFER system is collecting statistics.
This flag has to be set to YES for TRANSFER to collect statistics.
Note The following fields on the screen are relevant only if the Collect Statistics field is set to Y. They are
ignored if the system is not configured to collect statistics.
Statistics Ready
The Statistics Ready field indicates whether the statistics are ready for viewing. A NO
means that they are currently being computed and will be ready shortly. This field has
no meaning if the Collect Statistics field is set to NO.
Count Items When Examined
The Count Items When Examined field, when set to NO (the default), indicates that an
item is counted as soon as it is delivered to the INBOX. When the field is set to YES,
the item delivered to the depot is accounted for in statistics only after the recipient has
examined it.
Base Time
The Base Time field can be set to a specific time for collecting a statistics sample. The
default setting of all zeroes means that collection occurs at midnight.
Sample Interval
The Sample Interval field indicates the time interval that elapses before the collection
of the next sample of depot statistics. The time unit can be minutes (M), hours( H) or
days (D).
