TMANAGER Screens
TMANAGER
13198 Tandem Computers Incorporated 10–3
For screens that have more than one page, page numbers appear in the upper right
corner of the screen.
Regardless of the language and character set used by ADMIN, TMANAGER uses
English and US ASCII.
Function Keys Each TMANAGER screen lists the function keys on your terminal keyboard that are
valid for that screen and the task requested by each key. An unshifted function key is
identified by the letter F and the number of the key (for example, F16). A shifted
function key is identified by the letters SF and the number of the key (for example,
SF16).
For your convenience, several function keys perform the same task on each screen.
These function keys are listed in Table 10-1.
Table 10-1. Commonly Defined Function Keys
Function Key Action
F9 Prints the current screen
SF14 Recovers the current screen
F15 Displays the HELP screen
F16 Returns to the previous screen
SF16 Exits to the MAIN MENU
Printing Screens When you press F9 to print the current screen, by default the printed output goes to
your default output device, specified in your depot’s mail profile. If a default output
device has not been specified in the mail profile, the printer assigned in the
PATHWAY program from which TMANAGER is running is used as the default print
location.
The default print location is displayed in the Current Printer Location field of the
TMANAGER MAIN MENU screen, which is shown in Figure 10-4. You can specify a
different output file for the current session there. Regardless of the GUARDIAN 90
user ID in the TRANSFER profile of the current correspondent, printed output is
associated with the GUARDIAN 90 user ID that the TRANSFER PATHWAY system is
running under.
