Logging On to TMANAGER If you run TMANAGER as a standalone program, you access the LOGON screen from
PATHCOM. From your command interpreter, type:
TACL 1> PATHCOM
$process-name
$process-name
is the name of the PATHMON under which your TRANSFER
system is running. PATHMON is the central monitoring process in a PATHWAY
system. With most TRANSFER systems, the default process name is $TRPM.
After you receive your PATHCOM prompt (=), type the following:
= Run TMANAGER
To use TMANAGER, you must have system administrative read or write privileges.
Follow these steps:
1. Access TMANAGER from PATHCOM.
2. Type your correspondent name in the Correspondent Name field.
You can log on to TMANAGER on a remote system by typing your correspondent
name followed by the system-trigger character—usually @—and the name of the
remote node, for example, SYS-ADMIN @DEV.
3. Type your password in the Password field. To protect your privacy, it does not
appear on the screen.
You must enter your password exactly as it is specified in your profile; uppercase
and lowercase letters are not interchangeable. Your password cannot contain any
control characters.
4. Press F16 to log on and get the MAIN MENU screen.
If you press SF2 from the ADMIN MAIN MENU screen, you go directly to the
TMANAGER MAIN MENU screen.
From the ADMIN MAIN MENU screen, press SF1 to display the TRANSFER SYSTEM
CONTROL screen.
