The MAIN MENU
Screen
The TMANAGER MAIN MENU screen displays a list of the TMANAGER functions
you can request and the function keys you press for performing them. This screen is
not only the starting point for every TMANAGER session but also the transition for
moving from one TMANAGER function to another. Most of the functions listed on
this screen can be requested only from this screen; you cannot, for example, request
the log control function from a screen used to scan folders without first returning to
the MAIN MENU screen.

Displaying the Screen The TMANAGER MAIN MENU screen appears after you have logged on from the
LOGON screen or when TMANAGER is called from a TRANSFER client where
TMANAGER is configured.
Field Descriptions The main menu divides TMANAGER functions into four groups.
Monitor Functions
Monitor Functions allow system managers to monitor the TRANSFER scheduler
queues and the capacity of TRANSFER database files.
You can view data collected by the TRANSFER asynchronous system management
server, TSAMPLE, and be notified when a given count or file capacity is reached. You
can configure the sample intervals TSAMPLE uses for sample data collection as well as
