The DATABASE
SAMPLES Screen
The two DATABASE SAMPLES screens display statistics that the TRANSFER
asynchronous system-management server, TSAMPLE, gathers for TRANSFER
database files. They tell you the file code, the percent of file capacity used, and the
current end of each file (EOF); in addition, you see whether each file is partitioned.
If the percent of file capacity has met or exceeded the configured threshold alarm
value for database file capacity, that field and the corresponding file name are
highlighted in reverse video to alert you. You configure the threshold alarm values on
the MONITOR CONFIGURATION screen.
Figure 10-6 illustrates the first page of the DATABASE SAMPLES screens.
