The MONITOR
CONFIGURATION
Screen
The MONITOR CONFIGURATION screen allows you to configure sample intervals
for the TRANSFER asynchronous system-management server, TSAMPLE; to set
thresholds for alarms; and to enable an active alarm notification feature.
No samples are taken until you configure values on the MONITOR
CONFIGURATION screen.
The MONITOR CONFIGURATION screen displays the current sample intervals and
threshold settings for the local node. To change any values, you must have system
administrative write privileges.
Figure 10-9 illustrates the MONITOR CONFIGURATION screen.

Displaying the Screen You get the MONITOR CONFIGURATION screen by pressing F3 from the
TMANAGER MAIN MENU screen.
Field Descriptions The MONITOR CONFIGURATION screen presents you the following fields for
entering data and for displaying information.
Active Alarm Notification
You use the Active Alarm Notification field to indicate whether you want the active
alarm on or not.
