The ITEM TRACE
Screen
The ITEM TRACE screen displays detailed information about the status of a given
item based on the information available at the local node.
Figure 10-13 shows the ITEM TRACE screen.

Displaying the Screen You can select the ITEM TRACE screen from the MAIN MENU, SCHEDULER QUEUE
SCAN, or FOLDER SCAN screen. On the MAIN MENU screen, you specify the item
ID in the Item Id field and then press F12. On the SCHEDULER QUEUE SCAN
screen, you specify the item either in the Item Id field or by positioning the cursor
before pressing F12. On the FOLDER SCAN screen, you mark the item with the cursor
before pressing F12.
If an item has been selected, the ITEM TRACE screen displays detailed information for
that item. If no item has been selected, the ITEM TRACE screen appears with the
warning message "No Item Id specified” on the advice line. In this case, you can type
an item ID in the Item Id field and press F12.
