Current top-level item creator name
The ITEM-CREATOR field helps identify the package that is being transported. If
there are component items, they are added to the transport, but only the top-level
item is identified.
Current top-level item subject record
The SUBJECT field helps identify the package that is being transported. If there
are component items, they are added to the transport, but only the top-level item
is identified.
Current top-level item recipient list record
The RECIP-LIST field helps identify the package that is being transported. If there
are component items, they are added to the transport, but only the top-level item
is identified.
Total number of bytes transported
The NUMBER-OF-BYTES field gives the total number of bytes that were written to
or read from the network to transport the top-level item. Only one record is
written to the traffic log file for each transport.
Number of IPCs required to transport the item
The NUMBER-OF-IPCS field gives the total number of actual messages that were
needed to transport the package. Messages are limited by two conditions:
The values of the PARAMs MAXSEND and MAXREQUEST for the servers on
the connection
Some messages that require response before any others can be sent
Success or failure
The SUCCESS field indicates whether the transport completed successfully or had
to be rescheduled because of network problems. In the case of a failure, some
fields might be blank. A Y indicates success; an N indicates failure.
End time of item transport
The end time (END-TIME) is the time transport was completed whether it
succeeded or failed. This is the time that the record is actually written to the file.
The numbers provided in the traffic log do not indicate the contents of external objects
files.
