What to Do About
Poor Interactive
Performance
To tune and improve the interactive performance of your TRANSFER delivery
system—with the mail clients, for instance—do the following:
Check the status and the number of the TISERVs.
Although each TISERV can support more than eight configured users, a TISERV
can provide good response time for no more than five or six active users.
If you are using a SCREEN COBOL screen application—such as PS MAIL 6530—
you can use PATHCOM to check the links for the TISERV servers.
With the PATHCOM STATUS TISERV,DETAIL command you can check the
number of links for the TISERV servers.
