Isolating a Node from
the Network
If you have a problem with TRECV or the network, you can isolate your node from the
network by taking the following steps. Do this if you have a backlog of local events in
the READY queue that you want processed before you can solve the problem.
1. Stop the TFRONTs and the TRECVs to prevent packages from being received from
other nodes. This does not affect the processing of locally generated events.
2. Lock the ROPENCTL file to prevent the TWORKs from sending packages to other
nodes.
You can lock the ROPENCTL file by auditing the file, using FUP:
FUP ALTER ROPENCTL, AUDIT
When the problem has been solved and you are ready to reconnect to the network,
you can unlock ROPENCTL by turning off AUDIT, using FUP:
FUP ALTER ROPENCTL, NO AUDIT
