Error messages are listed in numeric order. Warning messages, which do not have
numbers, are listed in alphabetic order following the error messages.
5901 Required configuration subvolume parameter was not entered
Cause. The RUN command for the definition program must include the configuration
subvolume on which resides the define file for the component being installed. See
Appendix A for the parameter description.
Effect. Definition program fails.
Recovery. Correct the program RUN command and rerun the definition program.
5902 Too many parameters were entered; only 2 parameters are
accepted
Cause. Definition programs accept only two parameters:
$ volume . subvolume specifies the configuration subvolume.
INITIAL or REDEFINE specifies whether the component is to be installed initially
or redefined.
Effect. Definition program fails.
Recovery. Correct the program RUN command to specify only one or two parameters
and rerun the definition program.
5903 Invalid parameter for configuration subvolume:" subvolume "
Cause. The format of the subvolume parameter is invalid. You must enter a
subvolume name; you can enter the volume name, or default to the current volume.
This parameter specifies the volume and subvolume on which the define file for the
component being installed resides.
Effect. Definition program fails.
Recovery. Correct the configuration subvolume specified in the program RUN
command and rerun the definition program.
