5951 Unable to move old installation files to
subvolume
Cause. The definition program was unable to move an existing file to a new
subvolume.
Effect. Definition program fails.
Recovery. Check the user ID that owns the old installation files listed on the
configuration subvolume. For the move to occur, these files must belong to user ID
specified in TRGUARDIANUserid. Then rerun the definition program.
5952 Unable to create installation files on
subvolume
Cause. The program was unable to create installation files on the configuration
subvolume you specified.
Effect. Definition program fails.
Recovery. The most common error is that the disk is full (file error 43). Check the disk
and rerun the definition program.
5953 Unable to finish editing installation files on
subvolume
Cause. A file error occurred while the definition program was writing data to an
installation file.
Effect. Definition program fails.
Recovery. Run the definition program again. If the error recurs, check for a system
error. Preserve a copy of your entire configuration subvolume to facilitate diagnosis of
the problem.
5954 Unable to resecure new installation files on
subvolume
Cause. The definition program was unable to resecure the generated installation files
to O-OO.
Effect. Definition program fails. The FUP messages and commands appearing at the
time of the error are also displayed.
Recovery. Run the definition program again. If the error recurs, contact your Tandem
system analyst or the Online Support Center (formerly the Customer Assistance
Center). Please preserve a copy of your entire configuration subvolume to facilitate
diagnosis of the problem.
