Messages
If a TRANSFER server has a problem when it starts up, it issues an message. The
following subsection lists, in alphabetic order, startup error messages that are common
to many servers.
In addition, various servers issue particular error messages when they have individual
problems. These specific startup error messages are listed in alphabetic order, by
server, following the list of shared messages. There are no special startup messages
for the PSSERV server or the STISERV server.

Startup Messages
When TRANSFER servers start up, you can get one of the following messages if a
server encounters an error.
Error XXXX,XXXX finding configuration name
Cause. The indicated GUARDIAN 90 error occurred.
Effect. The server abends.
Recovery. Correct the TRANSFER configuration.
Error XXXX,XXXX finding root directory name
Cause. The indicated GUARDIAN 90 error occurred.
Effect. The server abends.
Recovery. Refer to the GUARDIAN 90 error number displayed.
Error XXXX getting TMP name.
Cause. The indicated GUARDIAN 90 error occurred.
Effect. The server abends.
Recovery. Refer to the GUARDIAN 90 error number displayed.
Error XXXX - GUARDIAN Userid
XXX,XXX does not own the TRANSFER name directory
Cause. The indicated GUARDIAN 90 error occurred.
Effect. The server abends.
Recovery. Correct the TRANSFER database security.
