The TRANSFER
Database
At each node where TRANSFER is running, TRANSFER maintains a database of
information about local correspondents. The database consists of a set of internal files
used exclusively by TRANSFER. These files are created when you initialize Base
TRANSFER.
Base TRANSFER Data
Files
Base TRANSFER requires a set of data files that are internal files, completely
controlled by TRANSFER. Here is a list of these files. A more detailed description of
the files follows the list.
Name (NAME)
Contains the names of all correspondents, interest groups, distribution lists, and
folders defined at your node.
The NAME0 file is the alternate key file for the NAME file.
Directory Services Data (DSDATA)
Contains information about correspondent, interest group, distribution list, and
folder names for internal use by TRANSFER. It also contains TRANSFER system
configuration information.
The DSDATA0 file is the alternate key file for the DSDATA file.
Profile (PROFILE)
Contains descriptions of correspondents and interest groups registered at your
node, including search lists, agent configuration information, and all profile
records. It also contains the default values for X400 names.
Interest Group (INTGROUP)
Contains membership information for local interest groups.
The INTGROU0 file is the alternate key file for the INTGROUP file.
Folder (FOLDER)
Contains records identifying the items and packages stored in individual folders
belonging to depots at your node.
Inverted Folder (IFOLDER1 )
Contains records identifying the folders in which individual items or packages are
stored.
The IFOLDER1 file is an alternate key file for the Inverted Folder file that contains
only records identifying named items stored within folders.
Distribution List (DISTLIST)
Contains the names of members of distribution lists defined at your node.
