User-Written Components
The sample system contains a user-written client and agent, both of which are
SCREEN COBOL requesters (for the descriptions, see “Sample Client” and “Sample
Agent” in the TRANSFER Programming Guide.). The SCREEN COBOL object code for
the user-written client is stored in the SCREEN COBOL object library named
$DISKA.TRANEXT.TEST1. The code for the agent is stored in the SCREEN COBOL
object library named $DISKA.TRANEXT.CUST.
System Component Names The system manager decides that the eventual production system will use the default
TRANSFER names. Therefore, this test system cannot use all the default values
provided in the defaults files for the TRANSFER components. The system manager
instead invents the following naming conventions for the test system:
All process names for TRANSFER begin with TX.
All process names for PS MAIL 6530 begin with TM.
If more than one process is being defined, the name ends with a number.
