Note For remote logon, the systems must conform as follows:
PATHMON names must match. If the local PATHMON name is different from the remote
PATHMON name, remote logon fails with an error 7499 0014.
Both nodes must run the same release of PS MAIL—both C30, for example—because the text files
must match.
PS MAIL 6530 and PS MAIL 3270 require the following server classes defined with
Base TRANSFER: FORMAT, G-FILE, TEXTSRV, PROCESS-SERVER, TISERV. At least
one server in each of these server classes must be configured with Base TRANSFER for
the mail client to run properly.
