Sensitivity
Indication (P2)
Sensitivity indication allows you to specify the relative security of a message.
Sensitivity has four defined levels:
Default—No restrictions.
Personal—The message is for the recipient as an individual rather than for a
person occupying a position or role.
Company-Confidential—The message contains information that should be
handled according to company-specific procedures.
Private—The message contains information that should be seen only by the
recipient and not by anyone else.
The TRANSFER delivery system does not enforce the sensitivity restrictions. Instead,
it provides clients with a value on which to base enforcement of sensitivity.
Table 6-13 lists TRANSFER sensitivity values.

Data Structure
Sensitivity resides in the SENSITIVITY field of the item descriptor.
Access
Use the ALTER-ITEM-DES-C20 UOW to specify item sensitivity.
To retrieve an item's sensitivity value, use the GET-ITEM-DES-C20 UOW. To alter the
value, use the ALTER-ITEM-DES-C20 UOW.
Subject
Indication (P2)
Subject indication allows you to specify the subject of a mail message. A maximum of
128 characters can be exported; the gateway truncates remaining characters.
Data Structure
Subject indication resides in an item data record of type 115.
Access
To add a subject indication, use the ADD-ITEM-REC UOW.
The gateway generates an item data record of type 115 for each item with subject
indication specified. If you do not specify a subject, the gateway does not add a
subject data record.
