TISERV UOW Descriptions
2–58 069139, Update 1 to 40969 Tandem Computers Incorporated
RECIP-TYPE
specifies the type of recipient that is to be added. This field can contain values
ranging from 300 through 9999. The values 300 through 999 are reserved by
Tandem. If you specify a value outside of the range from 300 through 9999, the
error E-INVALID-RECIP-TYPE is returned.
Some values for RECIP-TYPE have special meaning if the item type for the
package specified by ITEM-ID is 109 through 114 (mail packages). In such cases,
the gateway generates a P2 message and interprets certain RECIP-TYPE values in
the following ways. If the item type is not one of the following values, then the
gateway simply sends out each recipient as a P1 recipient, without any regard for
RECIP-TYPE:
300 P1 recipients requiring delivery by X.400
323 CC recipients requiring delivery by X.400—These recipient names are
included in the heading of the P2 message and receive a copy of the
message as P1 recipients.
324 BCC recipients—These recipient names are included in the heading
of the P2 message and receive a copy of the message as P1 recipients.
340 TO recipients—These recipient names are included in the heading
of the P2 message and receive a copy of the message as P1 recipients.
RECIP-SEQ-NUM
specifies a sequence number in the list of recipients. Two X400 recipients cannot
share the same sequence number. The value for RECIP-SEQ-NUM can be -1 or
any value ranging from 1 through 9999. If the sequence number specified is -1,
then the recipient is added to the end of the sequence numbers for that particular
type. If one of these values is not specified, the error E-INVALID-REC-SEQ-NUM
is returned.
The sequence number that the recipient is given is always returned. There is a
limit of 9999 X400 recipients for any given value of RECIP-TYPE.
