DELIV-NOTIFY
specifies whether a delivery notification message is to be returned when the
package is delivered to the recipient's user agent:
Y A delivery notification message is to be returned when the package is
delivered to the recipient's user agent.
N A delivery notification message is not requested.
Note Not all X.400 implementations support delivery notification and therefore delivery notification is not
guaranteed.
RECEIPT-NOTIFY
specifies whether a receipt notification message is to be returned when the
recipient actually receives the message:
Y A receipt notification message is to be returned when the recipient
actually receives the message. Delivery notification can be requested
for X400 recipients if the recipient type is 340, 323, or 324 (recipients of
mail packages) only. This field does not apply to X400 recipients of
packages that are not mail packages.
N A receipt notification message is not requested.
Note Not all X.400 implementations support receipt notification and therefore receipt notification is not
guaranteed.
NON-RECEIPT-NOTIFY
specifies whether a non-receipt notification message is to be returned if the
recipient does not receive the message:
Y A non-receipt notification message is to be returned if the recipient
does not receive the message. Non-receipt notification can be
requested for X400 recipients if the recipient type is 340, 323, or 324
(recipients of mail packages) only. This field does not apply to X400
recipients of packages that are not mail packages.
N A non-receipt notification message is not requested.
