The TRANSFER Reference Manual describes units of work (UOWs) that allow you to
request TRANSFER services from your program.
This manual does not teach programming methodology or technique. It is intended
for experienced application programmers who plan to include TRANSFER features in
their programs. The information in this manual assumes that you have experience
with the GUARDIAN 90 operating system, the PATHWAY online transaction
processing system, and the Transaction Monitoring Facility (TMF).
Information in this manual is organized as follows:
Section 1 presents a summary of the units-of-work (UOWs) that request
TRANSFER services.
Section 2 describes the functionality and syntax for each UOW, in alphabetic order.
Section 3 describes error codes that can be returned to a TRANSFER application
process in the interprocess communication header, in the UOW header, and in
response to certain UOWs. Section 3 includes all error codes in numeric order.
Appendix A contains a listing of UOWs in numeric order.
Appendix B contains a listing of status packages.
Appendix C describes configured names for TRANSFER entities.
Appendix D contains a listing of national languages and character maps
supported by the TRANSFER delivery system.
Appendix E contains a listing of TRANSFER error messages in alphabetic order.
