CREATE-DLIST-C20 Operation
CREATE-DLIST-C20 creates a shared or private distribution list. If a group
distribution list is being created, the input distribution list name must be qualified by
the interest group name. In addition, the session in use by the correspondent must
have the authority to create the group distribution list. This means the correspondent
must be a system administrator with write privileges or an administrator of the group,
or any member of the group if the group profile indicates any member can create
group objects (such as distribution lists). If a correspondent name is supplied in the
CORR-NAME field, that correspondent is the owner of the group distribution list; if
the CORR-NAME field is blank, the session correspondent is the owner.
If the distribution list is private and a value other than P or D is specified, or if the
distribution list is shared and a value other than D, S or V is specified, the error
E-INVALID-SHARING-DIS is returned.
You can use the CREATE-DLIST UOW to create shared distribution lists. Use the
default sharing discipline, voluntary signup (V), when you create a shared distribution
list using the CREATE-DLIST UOW.
