The W-TIME-TOO-LONG warning appears if the item retention time you
specified exceeds the depot constraint. The folder is still created, but its default
item retention time is cut back to the constraint value.
RETN-CODE-DETAIL
is an error number returned by a subsystem other then the TRANSFER delivery
system or is a further qualification of an error detected by the TRANSFER delivery
system.
CREATE-FOLDER-B10 Operation
CREATE-FOLDER-B10 creates a new folder with the specified ordering criteria and
item retention time.
Folder order affects the order in which items are saved and subsequently referenced.
SCAN-FOLDER, SCAN-FOLDER-B00, and SCAN-FOLDER-BY-KEY UOWs return
items according to the ordering keys by which items are saved in folders. GET-
FOLDER-DESCR retrieves both ordering criteria and default item retention time for a
folder.
If the folder created is shared by a group, the folder has a bulletin-board-sharing
discipline.
If the depot storage statistics facility is active, an IFOLDER statistics record is added
for the folder and the statistics for it are initialized to 0.
