ALTERNATE-ATTACHMENT
specifies whether the attachments to be retrieved are alternate or primary
attachments.
Y Attachment is alternate attachment.
N Attachment is primary attachment.
FILTER-BY-USER-VALUES
specifies whether the TRANSFER delivery system should only return
attachments with the user values denoted by the USER-VALUES field of this
UOW:
Y Attachments are filtered by USER-VALUES.
N Attachments are not filtered USER-VALUES.
If any of the preceding OPTIONS subfields do not contain Y nor N, then E-MUST-
BE-YN is returned. If the RESERVED-1 through RESERVED-4 subfields are not all
set to N, E-RESERVED-MUST-BE-N is returned.
FILTER-VALUES
contain the values to be used when filtering attachments:
USER-VALUES
is the set of user values that define the filter. If you want to retrieve
information about a specific attachment, this field must match the user values
specified when the attachment was originally made.
START-INDEX
indicates where the TRANSFER delivery system should begin its comparison
in the list of user-value bytes. If START-INDEX is less than 0 or greater than
31, E-INVLD-START-INDEX is returned.
COMPARE-LENGTH
indicates the number of bytes to compare, beginning with the byte denoted by
START-INDEX. If COMPARE-LENGTH is less than 0 or greater than 32, E-
INVLD- COMPARE-LENGTH is returned.
The FILTER-VALUES field is only used when FILTER-BY-USER-VALUES is
set to Y.
NUM-REQUESTED
is the number of attachments to be returned in this request. If this value is less an
0, E-INVALID-NUM-RQSTD is returned.
