GET-FOLDER-DESC-C20
TISERV UOW Descriptions
2–260 069139, Update 1 to 40969 Tandem Computers Incorporated
SHARING-ATTRIBUTES
is a set of attributes describing a shared folder and indicates the sharing discipline
for group members without group administrative privileges who can access the
shared folder. One of the following values is returned:
P
indicates that the current folder is a private folder and that sharing discipline
is meaningless.
B
indicates that the folder is a bulletin board. Group members can save items in
the folder or delete items saved in it.
RESERVED-1
is reserved for Tandem use.
CREATOR
is the fully qualified name of the correspondent that created the group folder. If
the correspondent is a member of the group where the folder is defined, then that
correspondent has ownership privileges with respect to the folder. If the folder is
private and was created before the C20 version of the TRANSFER delivery system,
this field contains spaces.
GET-FOLDER-DES-C20 Operation
GET-FOLDER-DES-C20 retrieves the ordering criteria and default item retention time
for the name assigned in FOLDER-NAME.
The UOW always returns the largest time unit. For example, a value entered as 60 M
is returned as 1 H, and a value entered as 75 M is returned as 75 M.
The fields in GET-FOLDER-DES-C20-RSP are defined to coincide with those in
ALTER-FOLDER-DESCR UOW, so that you can use the results of a GET-FOLDER-
DESCR UOW in an ALTER-FOLDER-DESCR operation.
Note Because the sharing discipline and creator name of a shared group folder are not alterable, there is no
UOW for altering these attributes.
