GET-ITEM-COMPNT-A01 Operation
GET-ITEM-COMPNT-A01 returns the item ID and item type of each component item
requested by ITEM-ID, START-POSITION, and NUM-REQUESTED. The information
is returned in COMPNT-ENTRY. The TRANSFER delivery system lets you directly
access component items at any time during the current session.
If you request filtering by item type or component type, any component whose item
type or component type does not match the specified filter values is ignored and is not
returned.
If TISERV reaches the end of the components list before retrieving all specified
components, the number of entries returned is less than the total number requested.
In this case, W-EOF is returned in the RETN-CODE field.
TISERV grants access to an item if the item is saved in a shared group folder accessible
to the group of which the correspondent is a member. If the correspondent does not
have access privileges to the item specified in the GET-ITEM-COMPNT-A01, E-ITEM-
NOT-FOUND is returned.
