This flag is used in special cases where a client wishes to add a recipient name or
member name even if that name does not exist.
Caution The DEFER-LOCAL-FLAG is typically set to N; the overhead for checking validity of local correspondents
is small. The DEFER-REMOTE-FLAG is typically set to Y; the overhead is higher for validity checking
across nodes.
SUFFIXES-ACCEPTED-FLAG
determines whether the depot recognizes suffixes on incoming packages.
Y Allow suffixes.
N Ignore suffixes.
Suffixes in recipient lists or distribution lists that reference this correspondent are
ignored; packages are delivered to this depot only once and need to be
acknowledged by this depot only once. Packages are delivered to this depot once
for each different suffix used in recipient lists or distribution lists that reference
this depot. For each delivery, the TRANSFER delivery system saves a package in
the depot INBOX, but only if the package is not already there, and invoke the
appropriate agents. Similarly, the package must be acknowledged for each
different suffix that was used in recipient lists or distribution lists.
STATS-EXCLUDE
indicates whether or not changes to depot storage statistics are allowed.
N Allow changes to depot storage statistics.
Y Do not allow changes to depot storage statistics.
These flags affect the TRANSFER delivery system when the depot storage
statistics facility is collecting.
DEPOT-IS-FROZEN
indicates whether or not collection of depot storage statistics is to be stopped (for a
depot that is to be deleted).
N Do not stop collection of depot storage statistics.
Y Stop collection of depot storage statistics.
The return code is defined as follows:
