RETN-CODE
is the return code. TISERV returns a code in this field to indicate one of the
following entries.
To indicate a successful scan operation:
0 OK
To indicate a problem with the UOW:
4035 E-ITEM-NOT-FOUND
4051 E-MUST-BE-YN
4093 E-SECURITY-VIOLATION
4500 E-RANGE-CONFLICT
4501 E-ON-MUST-BE-BY-SELF
4504 E-TOO-MANY-ITEMS
-4504 W-TOO-MANY-ITEMS
To indicate date/time input string errors:
4525 E-BAD-SYNTAX
4526 E-BAD-DAY
4527 E-BAD-MONTH
4528 E-BAD-HOUR
4529 E-BAD-MINUTE
4530 E-BAD-WEEKS
4533 E-DATE-IN-PAST
4534 E-DATE-IN-FUTURE
Errors returned by the SCAN-FOLDER UOW can also be returned by this UOW.
RETN-CODE-DETAIL
is an error number returned by a subsystem other than the TRANSFER delivery
system or is a further qualification of an error detected by the TRANSFER delivery
system.
If the RETN-CODE error applies to a field within a date/time field, the RETN-
CODE-DETAIL value indicates which date/time field contained an invalid value.
In such situations, the RETN-CODE-DETAIL field might contain one of the
following values:
1 An error occurred in the MAILED-BEFORE field.
2 An error occurred in the MAILED-SINCE field.
3 An error occurred in the MAILED-ON field.
4 An error occurred in the MAILED-NAME field.
In addition, if the error applies to the FOLDER-NAME field, the RETN-CODE-
DETAIL field might contain additional information, depending on the error.
NUM-RETURNED
is the number of item IDs returned.
