Error Codes

Meaning. Your process attempted to attach a partition of a partitioned file as a primary
or an alternate attachment.
4124 E-INVALID-OBJECT-TYPE
Field. RETN-CODE
Meaning. Your process specified an external object of a type that the TRANSFER
delivery system does not support; the only currently authorized type is indicated by
the value 1 in the OBJECT-TYPE field, denoting a GUARDIAN 90 file.
4125 E-TOO-MANY-ATTACHMENTS
Field. RETN-CODE
Meaning. Your process attempted to add a primary or an alternate attachment to an
item that already has 9999 attachments of that type, or it attempted to add an alternate
attachment to a primary external object that already has 9999 alternate attachments.
4126 E-PARENT-MUST-BE-ITEM
Field. RETN-CODE
Meaning. Your process issued a UOW for an external object, but the OPTIONS field
indicated that the parent is an item and is identified by an object name. (In other
words, the PARENT-IS-ITEM and PARENT-IS-OBJECT-NAME subfields were both
set to Y.)
4127 E-NO-ATTACHMENT
Field. RETN-CODE
Meaning. Your process attempted to operate on an attachment, but specified a parent
that had no attachments of the type indicated or that did not have an attachment in the
specified relative position.
4128 E-MUST-BE-ALTERNATE
Field. RETN-CODE
Meaning. Your process issued a UOW that specified both parent and attachment as
primary external objects (PARENT-IS-ITEM and ALTERNATE-ATTACHMENT fields
