Status Packages

Usage Notes. If the package is attached as a component, the following information
applies:
If the original package still exists on the Gateway node, it is attached as a
component.
If the original does not exist on the Gateway node when the notification is
imported, a new item is created, having an item type of 120.
The P1 message ID of the message being reported on (the original) is placed in item
data record 120,1.
29 X.400 RECIPIENT DOES NOT SUPPORT DATA TYPES.
Cause. If a nondelivery notification for X.400 recipients specifies the value for the
diagnostic code as "the encoded information types are not supported by the UA," then
this status package is returned to the package originator by the Gateway. This status
package is sent from X400 to the originator of the message. It is created by the
Importer process.
Meaning. The indicated X.400 recipients do not support the types of data that were
included in the original package, which is attached if it is available. If the original
package was unavailable for attachment, the attached message contains the X.400
message identifier for the original package.
Parameters. None.
List Records. None.
Special Item Data Records. The following item data records are returned?
211, 1: The UA content ID as returned in the notification. If the notification does
not include a UA content ID, then this record does not exist for the status package.
213, 1: The converted encoded information types, if they are specified in the
notification. If the information type is omitted, then this record does not exist.
217, 1: The extra information from the nondelivery notification supplied by the
X.400 notification. This includes supplementary information, the reason for
nondelivery, and the diagnostic value.
X400NAME Records. The following records are returned:
200-203: The actual recipient names being reported on.
204-207: The corresponding intended recipient names, if they exist.
This package has the X400-ORIG flag set in the item descriptor.
