Installation and Configuration
TIMEINTERVAL (TSCHED)
TIMEMULTIPLE (TSCHED)
READYINTERVAL (TSCHED)
DELIVERYWORKPERTRANS (TSCHED)
ALTERX400FOLDERS (TISERV)
ALTERINGSUFFIX (TISERV)
COUNTMESSAGES (TISERV/TWORK/TRECV)
ALLOWALLSUFFIXES (TISERV/TWORK/TRECV/TDBSERV)
BLDTOITEMDATA (IMPORTER)
if TRUE, causes the Importer to store bilaterally defined body parts in PCDATA
items instead of external object files. The Exporter puts both external object files
and PCDATA items into bilaterally-defined body parts. For more information, see
the section on Export/Import of Binary Objects.
NUMTOWAKE (WMSERV)
specifies how many waiters to awaken whenever an ENQ is detected. The default is
all, the minimum is 1. This parameter is optional.
TIMEINTERVAL (TSCHED)
specifies how many seconds occur between each check of the TIME file. The units
are seconds. The default is 60. This parameter is optional.
TIMEMULTIPLE (TSCHED)
specifies how many records can be moved from TIME to READY each
TIMEINTERVAL seconds. The default is 1, and the maximum is 100. This
parameter is optional.
READYINTERVAL (TSCHED)
determines how long the TSCHED waits before repositioning to the beginning of the
READY file to determine if any higher priority tasks have been added. The default is
60, which is also the minimum. The units are seconds. This parameter is optional.
DELIVERYWORKPERTRANS (TSCHED)
determines how much delivery work a TAREQ does before starting a new TMF
transaction. If you encounter frequent locks on scans of the INBOX, this parameter
can be reduced to shorten the active time of the transaction. The default is 10, the
maximum is 20, and the minimum is 1. The units are weighted values used within
TAREQ to calculate how long a TMF transaction is active. TAREQ attempts to
calculate the “cost” of agent processing and to reduce long transactions. This
parameter is optional.
ALTERX400FOLDERS (TISERV)
instructs TISERV to allow the retention time for the X400 special folders to be less
than 14 days. This parameter is optional.
