Unhold Ready Task
is also an option on ADMIN screens. All screens include the node name just right of the
screen title. The word “SCREEN” is removed from each screen in order to make room
for the node name.
The default for ADMIN is not to display the node names on the screens. To display node
names, change the INITIAL attribute of the program ADMIN from ASCII-ADMIN to
ASCII-ADMIN-NODE.
The TMANAGER Scheduler Queue Scan screen displays the date and time to the right
of the Item ID field. Each time data from a queue is read, the date and time field are
updated.
(This screen has been modified to fit on a printed page.)
Unhold Ready Task
A new function added to the TMANAGER Scheduler Queue Scan Screen allows a task
to be unheld so it can be retried prior to CHECKSESSIONHOUR. The UNHOLD
function allows any one marked task to be unheld. The task priority is not different, so it
cannot be retried immediately.
(This screen has been modified to fit on a printed page.)
An internal UOW is sent to SMSERV to have it remove the held bit from the task and
update the READY file. The task is then processed according to normal READY file
handling.
The F14 function key is disabled for TIME and NET, and F14=UnHold is not shown
when the TIME or NET queue entries are displayed.
