ZPWY-MAP-DEF-PATHWAY
ZMAXTERMS
This field applies only to Pathway/iTS; a complete description is given in the
Pathway/iTS Management Programming Manual. If you do not have Pathway/iTS
installed, HP recommends setting this value to zero.
This field is required; there is no default.
ZMAXTMFRESTARTS
This field applies only to Pathway/iTS; a complete description is given in the
Pathway/iTS Management Programming Manual. If you do not have Pathway/iTS
installed, HP recommends setting this value to zero; the default value is 5.
ZOWNER
is the user ID allowed to issue commands that directly alter the state of the
PATHMON-controlled objects. The user ID must be known to the system in which
your program is running. The value of the ZOWNER field works in conjunction with
the value you set for the ZSECURITY field.
For more information on this field, see the ZPWY-DDL-OWNER-ID on page 5-14.
If you do not assign a value to this field, the default is the owner ID of the user who
started the PATHMON process.
ZSECURITY
specifies the users who can issue commands that directly alter the state of the
Pathway subsystem objects. Before you issue the START PATHWAY command,
the owner ID is the process-accessor ID of the PATHMON process and the
security attribute is ZPWY-VAL-U (user). This security setting prevents alteration of
the PATHMON configuration file and allows a remote requester to start the
PATHMON environment.
If you do not assign a value to this field, the default is ZPWY-VAL-N.
ZMAXDEFINES
is the maximum number of ADD SCDEFINE definitions that you can specify for all
server classes in a PATHMON environment. This field has the same meaning as
the MAXDEFINES parameter in the PATHCOM SET PATHWAY command.
Each ADD SCDEFINE definition counts as one toward the value of this parameter.
The value must be a number from 0 through 4095. The maximum number of
DEFINEs allowed by Pathway for all server classes is 4095.
If you do not assign a value to this field, the default is 0.
