The limits imposed on measurement collection are:
Measurements will stop for any server upon the 99,999,999th measurement.
Any measurement greater than 99,999,999.99 seconds is discarded.
After a measurement counter reaches 99,999,999.99 seconds, measurement-
collection for this server class stops.
Response times are reported in microseconds.
For additional information on performance statistics, see the Pathway/iTS System
Management Manual..
ZPERFINFO contains:
ZAGGREGATE
reports information on response time. It contains:
ZTOTALMEASCOUNT
is the total number of measurements collected.
ZAVGRESP
is the average response time calculated from the collected measurements.
ZMAXRESP
is the maximum response time recorded during the given time interval
(since statistics counters were turned on or reset).
ZMINRESP
is the minimum response time recorded during the given time interval
(since statistics counters were turned on or reset).
ZSUMOFSQUARES
is a statistic that can be used to calculate standard deviation and variance.
ZFREQTABLE
reports supplemental statistics on the completion of SCREEN COBOL SEND
statements within a given time interval. This field is relevant only if you are
using the Pathway/iTS product.
Note. LINKMON processes do not collect or report data for the RESPONSE TIME INFO
section of the STATS SERVER display; only TCPs collect or report this data.
Consequently, if your environment is mixed (that is, both Pathway/iTS TCPs and TS/MP
LINKMON processes), the statistics reported might provide only a partial view of server
class performance.
