STATUS PMREQUESTER
Command Syntax
For tokens that may be present in the command and response buffers but are not
listed, see Unlisted Tokens on page 3-29. For descriptions of tokens and fields, see
Section 4, SPI and EMS Standard Definitions through Section 7, ZPWY-MAP-
Definitions.
Considerations
•
To implement the equivalent of the PATHCOM STATUS PATHMON command,
issue the STATUS PM command and then issue the STATUS PMREQUESTER
command with continuation.
•
During shutdown, the PATHMON process automatically stops logging status
messages.
•
Unlike the file names that appear in the PATHCOM STATUS PATHMON display,
the file names returned by the STATUS PM command do not include node names.
STATUS PMREQUESTER
Use the STATUS PMREQUESTER command to request information about processes
that are currently communicating with the PATHMON process. The processes can be
PATHCOM processes, SPI processes, link managers (such as LINKMON processes or
Pathway/iTS TCPs), or other processes.
Continuation
To obtain information about all processes, initialize the ZNUMBER field in
ZPWY-DDL-SEL-PMREQUESTER to ZPWY-VAL-ALLPMREQUESTER. Reissue the
command continually by using the context token returned by the PATHMON process
until no data is returned in the reply buffer.
When you issue the STATUS PMREQUESTER command with continuation, the first
response always identifies the LOG requester. For more information about
continuation, see Specifying Continuation on page 3-17.
