STOP PATHWAY
Command Syntax
For tokens that may be present in the command and response buffers but are not
listed, see Unlisted Tokens on page 3-29. For descriptions of tokens and fields, see
Section 4, SPI and EMS Standard Definitions through Section 7, ZPWY-MAP-
Definitions.
STOP PATHWAY
Use the STOP PATHWAY command to stop a Pathway subsystem. For TS/MP, this
command is the same as the PATHCOM SHUTDOWN command.
STOP PATHWAY causes the PATHMON process to delete all servers that are not
linked to a link manager. LINKMON processes are notified of the STOP PATHWAY
command and prohibited from sending requests to Pathway subsystem server classes.
If you are using Pathway/iTS, note that this command is the same as the PATHCOM
SHUTDOWN command, except that the TERM objects and TCP objects are not
automatically stopped; you must stop all the TERM objects and TCP objects before
issuing this command.
Continuation
You cannot use continuation with this command.

means of stopping your Pathway subsystem. The STOP PATHWAY command is still available
to maintain backward compatibility.
