TS/MP Supplement for Limits Relief (G06.26+)

Differences in statistical results should be minimal.
Error Handling
Pathsend errors
Some TS/MP 2.0 errors are no longer generated but that does not cause compatibility problems.
New errors generated by TS/MP 2.1 can easily be handled by applications and are highly
unlikely to occur. The new errors always indicate that the transaction has not been processed
and that the transaction can be aborted, which is standard for unhandled errors.
For information on the Pathsend API and link manager errors, see Chapter 8, Pathsend Errors.
Event Management System (EMS)
The TS/MP PATHMON does not generate any new EMS messages. However, the ACS
subsystem does generate EMS messages, which may require changes in message tokenization
to conform to current standards.
All operator messages, for TS/MP and for ACS, are documented in the Operator Messages
Manual. For a definition of the EMS tokens in messages returned by the ACS subsystem, see
Chapter 10, ACS EMS Event Tokens.
Subsystem Control Facility (SCF)
For SCF errors specific to the ACS subsystem, see Chapter 9, SCF Error Messages.
Changes to TS/MP 2.0 Documentation
TS/MP System Management Manual
All sections of this manual apply to TS/MP 2.1 with the following exceptions:
Replace all references to LINKMON with the ACS subsystem redirector, process broker,
and configuration subscriber processes. For a description of these processes, see ACS
Subsystem Components in Chapter 4 of this supplement.
Section 7, Tuning Your System by Using Statistics: In general, these documented
definitions continue to hold. However, there are changes introduced by the ACS
subsystem to the definition of collected statistics, as described in Statistics Collection in
Chapter 2 in this supplement.
Section 11, PATHMON Environment Control Commands: All commands that reported
on the TS/MP link management process now report on the ACS subsystem process
