HELP Command
HELP Command
Use the HELP command to display or list to a file the command syntax for all
PATHCOM commands.
OUT list-file
specifies the name of a file to which PATHCOM directs the HELP output. If you
omit this option, the output goes to the PATHCOM list file; this is typically the home
terminal.
ALL
lists the syntax for all PATHCOM commands.
COMMANDS
lists the names of all PATHCOM commands.
<command-name>
specifies a particular PATHCOM command syntax to be displayed. When entering
the name of the command, do not include the angle brackets.
<“detail-name”>
specifies a particular parameter syntax to be displayed. When entering the name
of the parameter, include the angle brackets; do not include the quotation marks.
<error-num>
specifies a Pathway environment error number from 1000 through 3999 for which
an explanation is displayed. When entering the number of the error, do not include
the angle brackets.
Display Format
The HELP command initially displays this syntax for the HELP command and lists the
command names for which help is available:
HELP [ / OUT list-file / ] [ ALL ]
