Cause. An error occurred during the creation of a new process for the indicated server
or TCP. err-text identifies a process-creation error and provides detail concerning
the problem.
Effect. The new process is not created.
Recovery. For additional information, see the description of the
PROCESS_CREATE_ procedure in the Guardian Procedure Calls Reference Manual .
For more detailed information including recovery actions, see the Guardian Procedure
Errors and Messages Manual .

Cause. A PATHMON process name was not supplied when PATHMON was started.
Effect. The PATHMON process cannot be opened; the operation fails.
Recovery. Name your PATHMON process.

Cause. A file-system error (errnum) was returned on a call to DEVICEINFO2.
Effect. The call to DEVICEINFO2 and the request fails. This error is not logged, but is
simply returned to the operator.
Recovery. For information regarding the specified error, see to the Guardian
Procedure Errors and Messages Manual .

Cause. An error occurred during request initiation.
Effect. The request fails.
Recovery. For additional information, see the description associated with the nested
message.
