Tuxedo 6.5.3 README
DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM:
When multiple workstation listeners (WSLs) are configured, the
following SET command worked on only the first WSL:
TA_CLASS T_WSL
TA_OPERATION SET
TA_SRVID <server id>
TA_SRVGRP <server group name>
The following error was returned in the SET operation against
another WSL:
"LIBTMIB_CAT:16:ERROR: SET keys do not match existing class instance"
CUSTOMER IMPACT:
This problem occurs when executing the SET command on the second and
subsequent WSLs through the WSL_MIB. This problem occurred once and
cannot be duplicated.
3. Solution 10-990728-2959
DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM:
Installation of a workstation client may result in NonStop(TM) TUXEDO
sample applications appearing on the workstation. In many cases,
these samples have not been altered to run as workstation clients.
In other cases, some information on a workstation client is included,
mixed in with information that is relevant to a TUXEDO server
machine.
For example, the workstation client for Windows NT includes 5 sample
applications. The only samples that show workstation clients are
bankapp (in the apps\bankapp\client directory) and CSIMPAPP (in the
apps\CSIMPAPP\ws directory). The other samples, simpapp, qsample and
STOCKAPP, do not show how to build and run a workstation client.
CUSTOMER IMPACT:
Customers should be aware of this fact when trying to run the samples,
and adjust their use of the applications accordingly.
For sample applications that do not include workstation information,
keep these points in mind:
- Another machine will run the server processes. Do not try to run
the following programs on a workstation that is functioning only
as a TUXEDO client:
buildserver
tmloadcf
tmboot
tmshutdown
- When building a workstation client with the buildclient program,
use the -w option.
