Tuxedo 6.5.3 README
1. Ensure that the user has execute permission to the file.
2. Determine whether buildclient can execute, but tmloadcf or
tmboot cannot execute. If buildclient can execute and tmloadcf
cannot, ensure that the security settings of the /T SRL (for
example, $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.LTUXT65) provide execute permission.
For example, "NUNU".
Problem: File System Error 48 occurs and is reported in the ULOG
file and the EMS log for start (tmboot) and stop (tmshutdown)
operations. This error does not occur for a super group user.
Fix: Resecure the DIST, DISTLIB, and SUPE files (in
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM) so that all NonStop(TM) TUXEDO administrative users
who run tmboot, tmshutdown, and so forth, have execute privilege,
for example, "NUNU". Additionally, license DISTLIB
(in $SYSTEM.SYSTEM).
IX. Problems Fixed in This Release
Case 10-990414-6461
After performing a tmboot of an application with only one machine
configured and the TMUSREVT and TMSYSEVT servers, and performing
no other operations, the error message about "..TMIB16" was
printed repeatedly in the ULOG file. This problem occurred
intermittently.
Case 10-990414-6497
TMSYSEVT server error message "TMSYSEVT.*: CMDTUX_CAT:4076:
ERROR: .SysEventDelivery: System Event Monitor delivery failure
on L1" appeared in the ULOG file after a tppost() routine by a
client even though the event was processed by a client's
tpsubscribe() routine. The action completed successfully.
This error message contradicted the success completion.
Case 10-991214-6284
When using the NonStop(TM) TUXEDO R6.5 V2 (30DEC1999)
Documentation rehosted by an OSS web server (such as tuxwsvr),
the entry and link to the site index did not appear in the main
menu.
Solution 10-000105-8419
If the ULOG file was unable to be opened or created, for example,
if the user did not have write access to the directory, then
NonStop(TM) TUXEDO would display GP_CAT:208 (that is, the open
failed) correctly to stderr. However, on subsequent calls to
userlog(), the open was not retried and instead the write would
fail and a GP_CAT:209 message displayed (that is, a write
failed). NonStop(TM) TUXEDO will now try the open in subsequent
calls and continue to issue a GP_CAT:208 message if the open
fails.
Solution 10-000128-1117
With a total of 310 clients running between two systems,
GWTDOMAIN reached the limit of 100 outstanding transactions
and reported the following :
TDM_CAT:3520: Too many Transactions.
