II. Pre-Installation Instructions
Prepare to run IPSetup by performing the following steps:
1. If you have an existing NonStop TUXEDO application running on
this NonStop Himalaya system, then determine whether you are using
the server (T8351) and/or the /WS OSS client (T8350) forms of
NonStop TUXEDO. Steps 1A and 1B show how to determine this.
1A. The server form is indicated by the existence in $SYSTEM.SYSTEM
of a NonStop TUXEDO SRL with a filename starting with "LTUXT".
Possible server SRL files are:
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM.LTUXT65 (for NonStop TUXEDO R6.5, which is
Independent Product SR62 or SR63);
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM.LTUXT2 (for NonStop TUXEDO Release 2);
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM.LTUXT1 (for NonStop TUXEDO Release 1).
The vproc of the SRL for NonStop TUXEDO servers has product
number T8351. For example:
