VHSGCONF File
VHSGCONF File
VHSGCONF is the VHS GUI Agent configuration file. You need to modify the default
file to:
Use the VHS GUI facility
Restrict VHS GUI user capabilities
The VHSGCONF file must reside in the $SYSTEM.SYSTEM subvolume. For more
information, see Appendix 8, The VHS GUI.
VHS Run-Time Options
The following subsections present some file-specific considerations that you should be
aware of before using VHS.
VHS ASSIGNs
You can customize the VHS server to your specific requirements with a set of run-time
options. These run-time options can be modified by editing the VHS startup file created
during the installation process.
Table 2-7 lists each ASSIGN used by VHS.
Note. The eInspect debugger is supported only on systems running H-series RVUs.
