P. The connection has been successfully edited and ready to use on the Fibre Channel
bus.
Q. Repeat Step 5H to Q for each virtual tape connection that needs to be updated.
Step 6 : Restarting VTS
A. Open a terminal window on the VTS and login as root.
B. Using the vi editor, remove the comment out’s that were added in Step 1E (remove
the # sign in front of each Vault, example #LABEL=/VAULT01 becomes
LABEL=/VAULT01). Do this for all Vaults.
C. Exit the vi editor and save all changes.
D. Reboot the VTS.
The VTS Fibre Channel card upgrade and reconfiguration process is complete.
