Configuring migration
Be sure that the BMA client is installed and configured on the VTS server. Refer to the BMA
product documentation for more information. Then, modify the VTS configuration file to
configure migration, which entails configuring the hsm_ parameters as defined below.
Note A default configuration file is defined for each VTS server. To override the default
settings, you must define settings as described below. Technically, you do not edit the
VTS configuration file; you simply define parameters that override those set in the
configuration file.
Requires the Edit VTS Configuration File access right
To modify the VTS configuration file to configure migration
1. Click Supervisor Functions on the navigation pane of the VTS interface.
2. Click Edit VTS Configuration File.
3. Add the following parameters at the bottom of the file that is displayed:

• NBP for NetBackup
• TSM for Tivoli Storage Manager

For automated migration, you can
